Authentic hand-made Tolix chairs, complete with the gold TOLIX label. The Tolix chairs are considered iconic, and have been displayed in the New York Museum of Modern Art, Germany’s Vitra Design Museum, and Paris’s Pompidou Center. Wonderful space savers since you can stack the steel chairs 12- high. They have a wide range of applications; from households and businesses to restaurants, cafes and caterers. The architecture of the Tolix chair originates with Xavier Pauchard, whose designs are renowned for strength and lightness. Judging by the condition and color palette, we think these Tolix chairs are from the 1950’s and larger quantities are available through 1stdibs. Currently, we stock over (1000) pieces of Tolix, including tables and stools, but new and vintage and all we be listed on 1stdibs in the coming weeks. Please note, because of their age, the red paint has faded slightly different from chair to chair.
