The French designer, Pierre Paulin was born in 1927 in Paris. In the early 1950s, he studied stone carving and pottery at the Ecole Camondo in Paris. He is best known for his collaboration with Artifort, which began in 1958 and lasted almost half a century. From this relationship came several iconic pieces, such as the famous Mushroom Chair
