Vintage Design
Elegant pendant lamp model T883 by Hans-Agne Jakobsson. Crafted from brass, it features three lamp holders and a textile-covered shade (The lamp shade has been replaced). Complete with the original bullet-shaped canopy in solid brass. Swedish industrial designer Hans-Agne Jakobsson, born on the island of Gotland in 1919, began his career as a carpenter’s apprentice in his teenage years. Following his pursuit of architecture studies, he joined General Motors as a designer. In 1951, he established Hans-Agne Jakobsson AB in the quaint community of Markaryd. The factory is most renowned today for its mid-century lighting fixtures, though it also produced small furniture and various other interior design objects.
