Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown jet black with copper aventurine flecks Italian art glass puppy dog sculpture. Documented to designer Archimede Seguso. The piece still retains original scalloped red and gold “Archimede Seguso – Murano – Made In Italy” label. Believe this is a cute beagle puppy, with long floppy ears, laying down with a mischievous look and tongue out. Has a cute curled tail as well. Nicely sculpted. The entire body of the puppy dog is covered in pieces of glittery copper aventurine flecks that shine in the light. Would make a great display piece on any desk, credenza or side table. Mid-century era. Measures 8 1/2″ long x 4 1/4″ wide x 2 1/2″ tall.
