Fabulous soapstone paperweight hand carved in the Inuit style, by German-Canadian artist DIETRICH MUCKENHEIM. The works of this artist are somewhat mysterious and quite sparse. Signed DIMU on bottom.

Paperweight measures 3.2″ wide x 2.1″ high x 1.2″ deep. Depicts beautiful Inuit ice fishing scene. In good condition with some wear, consistent with age.
