Late 20th Century Inuit Style Carved Beige Soapstone Wall Art Plaque

Vintage hand carved beige soapstone wall plaque in the Inuit style, by German-Canadian artist DIETRICH MUCKENHEIM. The works of this artist are somewhat mysterious and quite sparse. Signed DIMU on back with original sticker.

Piece measures 6″ long x 4″ wide x 0.25″ deep. 2 holes at top to add whatever rope, twine or string you choose for hanging. Depicts beautiful Inuit ice fishing scene. In good condition with some wear, consistent with age.
