This hand carved bowl and utensils were made by Gérard Fortin of Saint-Jean Port Joli – Quebec. Fortin was an accomplished wood carver and sculptor that passed away during the 1990s.
The back of the bowl is signed (hand carved) by the artist.

Set of two decanters with stoppers and a set of six glasses with casing from Christofle for its Gallia line, made in France in the early part of the 20th century. The line was created for beautifully designed pieces from the French Art Nouveau and Art Deco eras, under the direction of Luc Lanel.

Baccarat traditionally created the glass and crystal for Christofle silver pieces.
