Built between 1945s-1950s, this unique rectangular “cabinet” with an oak structure and oak veneer, resting on a black wooden base and with three aluminum covered sliding doors with fin-shaped wooden handles, discovering several shelves inside and different storage spaces inside. . Origin France. Cabinet is reminiscent of the works of Jean Prouvé model AG 11, Charlotte Perriand and Le Corbusier.

Jean Prouvé (1901-1984) is one of the pioneers of the innovative production of 20th century furniture and architecture. Anxious to fit in with his time, he explored all the technical resources of metal and quickly moved from wrought iron work to constructive applications of folded sheet metal. . Charlotte Perriand (1903-1999) is considered one of the most important female designers of the 1950s. Having collaborated for a long time with Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret, she produced several pieces of metal furniture in 1927 – including the famous chaise longue with variable position that Thonet will publish two years later. . Le Corbusier is a well-known architect, born in 1887 in Haut-Jura (Switzerland) and died in 1965 in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin (France). His real name is Charles-Édouard Jeanneret-Gris. He choose Le Corbusier as his pseudonym. He was also an urban planner, decorator, painter and man of letters.

French highly carved country wedding armoire, cabinet or wardrobe. The French had a lovely tradition of gifting their children with a “Marriage Armoire” upon their wedding. The intricate carvings, enhancing both the doors and body of the armoire, reflect the overall design characteristic of such marriage armoires. The armoire has been painted in a delightful watermelon red, adding a touch of vibrancy to its aesthetic. Restored to its former glory, this antique armoire is in very good condition. While minor surface imperfections consistent with age and use may be present, there are no mechanical or structural issues to diminish its overall appeal.

Elegant 19th century louis xvi style mirror door armoire – the epitome of parisienne elegance! a perfect blend of elegance, design, and practicality. The full-length beveled mirrors not only reflect your space beautifully but also serve as fantastic dressing mirrors. However, let not fool you! this armoire has 1 large mirror door (not 3 – as might look like) to open to reveal copious storage inside with 3 adjustable shelves and an interior drawer unit. Perfect for a bedroom or dressing room. This armoire has been restored and painted inside to revive its timeless charm. The cabinet is in excellent working condition, including the lock and keys. Originating from france and dating back to the 1880s-1890s. Capturing the exact color on a photo is a bit challenging. It falls somewhere between off-white and greyish, with a hint of green. For ease of transportation, this armoire will be disassembled, consisting of the top, sides, back parts, door, bottom and shelves. The crest parts can also be taken off, might you want a bit cleaner look or to make it less high.
