Designed in the 1920s by Guido Andlovitz for Lavenia in Italy these noteworthy and important plates are absolutely lovely. Each plate has a distinctive design and none were used for food service. All are marked on the back aspects as pictured above.

This antique cherub figure was crafted in Italy, circa 1780. The hand carved cherub depicts a putti with wing and playing the guitar; the sculpture is very expressive in his movement and features wonderful facial expressions. The religious sculpture is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich patinated polychromed and gilt finish. The colorful wall hanging sculpture would make a charming addition to a living room or study in your home. Hook in the back for easy installation.

Vintage German porcelain green Quatrefoil plate by Schumann Bavaria. This plate was produced between 1945 and 1949, during US military post-WWII occupation. A courting couple scene with alternating panels of floral bouquets decorate the center. The wide rim is reticulated with Dresden style flowers.

Wear is consistent with gently handled vintage porcelain; there are no chips, cracks or repairs.

Antique Black Forest Red Deer Trophy from Salem – Germany, Banzenreuthe 1875

A 6 pointer black forest red deer (Cervus elaphus) trophy from the palace of Salem in South Germany. Shot by a member of the lordly family of Baden in 1875. The handwritten inscriptions are on the skull with, place of the hunt, family crest and date. It is mounted on a nice Biedermeier wooden plaque with inventory number on the back. The item is in good condition, the paint on the plaque is partly peeled off.

Trophies are mementos from the hunted game, which are kept by the huntsmen as a souvenir or decorative item. For many centuries it was a tradition to collect trophies. Nowadays exactly these are becoming more and more popular as decorative highlights in hunting lodges.

Circa 1940s Dartmouth Co-op (Cooperative Society) pointed tipped skis made from hickory in Hanover, NH. Skis have original Dartmouth decals and metal bindings with rubber. The skis also have hand painted initials and numbers. Skis have wear, discolorations, chips, scratches. Ship together in one carton.

We are selling this vintage Mid-Century decorative black lacquer and Mother of Pearl or abalone inlaid wall art. This piece has inlay floral decoration along with calligraphy on a black background. The back has paper label from Thanhley Thudaumot which we believe to be Vietnamese.
