Super elegant Danish high wingback armchair from the 1940s by Alfred Christensen for Slagelse Mobelvaerk with open armrests in beautifully curved stained beech. Nice slim elegant sculptural silhouette. Solid and sturdy construction. We love how the armrests extend into the front legs. Original fabric showing wear and needs to be replaced. We are able to re-upholster in lambswool or shearling should you wish at very competitive prices. Overall very good condition with just minor age wear and patina to the legs and armrests.
